Having only ever seen anvils in cartoons, I was impressed by this particular specimen, which can be found tucked among the junk outside the outbuilding where we get water for the dogs. What's it for? Again, I thought the purpose of anvils was to fall whistling from the desert sky and land with a clang on the heads of unsuspecting coyotes. Bindi's dad, Dean, says anvils are currently used in modern society for the purpose of welding. Cool. --z
